How do I attend?

  • Step 1: Register

    Register to attend so we can send you all the need-to-know info and keep you in the loop on any updates. You’ll also go into the running to win the Ultimate Day Out! Travelling to Open Day from a regional area? Check out the Open Day Regional Travel Grant before you register – you could be reimbursed up to $250 for your travel costs.

  • Step 2: Plan your Open Day

    Choose from hundreds of events and activities set to bring our Hawthorn campus to life this Open Day. Use the Planner to search sessions, then save them to your calendar so you can find them throughout the day using the handy interactive campus map.

  • Step 3: Get to campus and find a [h.i.] hub

    Find your best way to our Hawthorn campus, located just 10 minutes from Melbourne CBD by train. Once you’re here, head for the nearest [h.i.] hub powered by friendly volunteers – AKA human intelligence.

Travelling to Open Day from a regional area?

If you’re a Year 11 or 12 student from a rural area, you might be eligible for the Open Day Regional Travel Grant, which will subsidise up to $250 of your return travel costs to Open Day.

To apply for the Open Day Regional Travel Grant, just fill in the relevant fields on the Open Day registration form. Hold onto any travel receipts, like train tickets and fuel receipts, then bring them to the Student Equity stand when you arrive at Open Day.
