Led by Dr Charlie Ranscombe, the Human Centred Product Development program develops human-centred design to innovate and add value in the development of new products in fast growing markets.
This program encompasses a cluster of projects that use user-centred, participatory and co-design methods to engineer and design commercialisable products. The aim is to work directly with industry to promote innovation and maximise organisational capabilities.
Our projects aim to:
develop innovative sensor technologies
discover new methods for data analytics
engineer and design commercially viable products.
Each project is backed by rigorous research and executed by experienced engineers and designers, with the goal of maximising sensor accuracy while advancing data analytics by keeping products affordable.
