Brought to you by Swinburne University of Technology’s – Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2), the ‘Hydrogen Readiness Program’ incorporates the scientifically approved facts about hydrogen and hydrogen technologies into a logical and easy-to-understand webinar series, covering the important aspects of the hydrogen value chain.  The forum series will provide an opportunity for participants to understand, learn about the current status and future of the hydrogen economy, and discuss with our experts on emerging hydrogen related concerns and questions you are facing.

In this forum, Dr Daniel Roberts will provide basic information about hydrogen, demystify hydrogen, explain the colour spectrum of hydrogen (including green, blue, brown and grey), and discuss the current challenges and opportunities associated with the adoption of hydrogen.

Speaker

Dr Daniel Roberts is the Research Director for CSIRO’s Energy Technologies program, where he leads CSIRO’s RD&D into a range of renewable and low-carbon areas including solar PV, solar thermal, CO2 capture and utilisation, hydrogen, and related modelling and hybridisation activities. Daniel has previously led CSIRO’s work in developing new science and technologies in support of the emerging hydrogen industry, and remains active in exploring the use of gasification and related pathways for industrial bioenergy and circular economy solutions.
