To use the ATAR Calculator, select the ATAR range that you have achieved (or anticipate achieving) to show your course options. You can narrow your search results using the qualification type and study area filters.

Some courses that have an ATAR slightly higher than the one you’ve entered may appear in your results. This is because you’ll be considered for courses where your ATAR is below the displayed Guaranteed Entry ATAR if you are eligible for additional adjustment factors, such as subject bonuses or the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS). Find out more about how adjustment factors work.

Don’t forget, many of our certificates and diplomas can be used as a pathway to bachelor degree study.

N/A = ATAR is not considered as part of the selection process.

What is a Guaranteed Entry ATAR?

A Guaranteed Entry ATAR is a pretty incredible thing. It means, if you get the ATAR needed for your course and meet the essential requirements, you'll be guaranteed an offer.

If you don’t quite meet the Guaranteed Entry ATAR, you may still receive an offer. The lowest ATAR/selection rank that students admitted to the course have had varies from year to year, and is influenced by the number of applicants for the course and the number of places available. We will use your adjusted ATAR (selection rank) when determining if you have reached the Guaranteed Entry ATAR.

Check the entry requirements for your course to see the lowest ATAR/selection rank that was admitted to the course.
