If you need short-term accommodation to attend class, consider a short stay on campus. Our team can also assist you to find a bed if you are experiencing difficult circumstances.
Short-term accommodation
Swinburne Residences is offering short-term accommodation to students who need a place to stay overnight while attending face-to-face classes on campus.
For A$40 per night, you’ll get access to a room with a single bed in our four-bedroom student apartments on Alfred Street.
Bookings are very flexible. If you need to stay one night a week for a whole semester or just during exam time, we can help!

Emergency and crisis accommodation
If you’re homeless or in need of short-term emergency accommodation, the following organisations can help.
- State Government of Victoria homelessness resources. Details of homeless support organisations around Victoria.
- Your local council. As a resident, your local council may be able to offer assistance and referral services for emergency housing
