The Swinburne Psychology Clinic was established to provide a range of low-cost psychological services to the Melbourne community.
Swinburne Psychology Clinic has now achieved an enviable reputation, not only for the services it provides, but also for its teaching and research. Each year the clinic provides over 500 individuals with access to low-cost counselling, psychological assessment and group therapy treatment.
Established in 1990, the clinic provides a unique avenue for individuals to access professional counselling on an ongoing basis at a low-cost and there are no limitations on the number of sessions that a client can access.
Now one of the largest university clinics in Australia, the clinic provides a vital role in the training of future psychologists, providing them with the appropriate experience, training and clinical skills they need to work independently.
All work conducted by counsellors at the clinic is supervised by fully registered psychologists with significant academic and applied training who provide support, practical advice and feedback to counsellors and therapists.
