Swinburne University of Technology students are invited to have their say on the transformative next gen_campus revitalisation at one of the weekly Listening Posts around campus.
The Listening Posts will give students the opportunity to learn about and contribute to the co-creation of next gen_campus, encompassing eight transformative projects that will revitalise our Hawthorn, Croydon and Wantirna campuses.
The Listening Posts will help to ensure the next gen_campus project accurately reflects the needs and priorities of Swinburne students and their on-campus experiences.
A booth will be set up in popular areas for students and will feature different mechanisms for engagement each week, including interactive games, quizzes, voting polls and arts and crafts.
Finding new ways to engage students
To date, thousands of students have engaged with next gen_campus through workshops, forums, booths and surveys.
Listening Posts will continue the collaborative focus for next gen_campus, keeping the student voice at the centre of decision-making.
A booth will be set up in popular areas for students and will feature different mechanisms for engagement each week, including interactive games, quizzes, voting polls and arts and crafts.
The Listening Posts will visit Croydon and Wantirna at least once a month.
These tools will draw students in to generate conversations on the next gen_campus works as construction and development begin.
Each month the Listening Posts will follow a different theme, based on the different stages of development of the next gen_campus projects and larger university events scheduled across the month.
